A young boy named Jak Pierce lost his home world and family to evil intergalactic robots.  After being sent away from  them in an escape pod, he crash landed on the desert planet Dune and was rescued by a kind family.  Now Jak is a young adult and working as a bounty hunter and decides to go on a quest to leave Dune and travel across the entire galaxy to find out what happened to his real parents, while fighting against aliens, monsters, and robots.
